Ky Rotary Bit Single Jointed Water Snaffle

Riders have been searching for a solution to bit problems for years. A major goal is to achieve the control that a jointed bit provides, but with less bulk and a smoother contact of the middle joint with the horse's tongue. The full rotational movement of the Ky bit mouthpiece is not restricted as with a conventional jointed bit.

After 2 years of experimentation and detailed testing with numerous riders and their horses, we are pleased to introduce the KY Rotary Bit, which we claim is the ultimate jointed bit for the riding industry.

1. Perfect ball-shaped pivot joint in the middle, allowing the sides of the bit to rotate freely 360 degrees independently. This feature helps prevent painful pinching of the tongue and lips and makes the bit more comfortable when in action.
2. Rider control is improved by the "Rotary" bit which fits in the middle of the horse's mouth because the two sides of the bit are the same length.
3. The smooth ball joint in the center allows the two sides of the bit to rotate independently in a smooth and silent motion.

Loose Rings: Loose ring snaffles create a more mobile bit than a D-ring snaffle or fixed mouthpiece, which should encourage your horse to keep a relaxed jaw and chew the bit. The loose ring can be helpful if your horse leans on or grabs the bit, as the bit is always mobile, so the horse cannot grab it as easily as with a fixed mouthpiece. This bit is also helpful for establishing contact, as the movable mouthpiece allows the bit to conform to the natural position of the tongue and sit comfortably in the mouth.
