The PresTeq PerformFree girth is an innovative and anatomical girth developed to give the horse optimum comfort and freedom of movement.
The special shape of the girth, which was developed after extensive research into the anatomy, biomechanics and behaviour of the horse, ensures optimum pressure distribution and prevents excessive pressure on the sternum. In combination with the extra soft gel padding in selected places, this is the girth to give your horse the chance to perform at its best without hindrance.
The shape of the girth follows the curve behind the front legs, creating more freedom of movement. The front of the cutouts for the front legs has extra thick soft padding, for extra comfort for the horse. In addition, the narrower parts of the girth ensure less pressure on the horse's ribs and the wide surface ensures better pressure distribution over the sternum. The buckles are located between the muscle attachments, which means there is less pressure on the muscle attachments themselves. This allows the temporary peak load during girthing to be better absorbed and makes it friendlier for the horse.
These points not only create more freedom of movement, but the PerformFree girth also improves the horse's comfort and minimizes breathing obstruction.
The girth consists of round shapes, which in combination with the padding ensures an optimal pressure distribution over the horse's body. This contributes to limiting or even preventing any girth envy. With these anatomical aspects, the PerformFree girth distinguishes itself as a unique choice within its category.

Material leather: vegetable tanned leather

Material supplies: Stainless steel
- Anatomically shaped and innovative girth
- The girth does not hinder the horse when moving its front leg. The shape of the girth follows the curve behind the front legs, creating more freedom of movement for the elbows. The extra space gives the horse the opportunity to increase its forward stride.
- The narrower sections of the girth provide less pressure on the horse's ribs. An extra thick and soft padding is placed at the front of these cutouts at the front legs. This provides extra comfort for the horse.
- At the place of the sternum the girth has a wider surface. This ensures in combination with the thickness of the material and the gel padding an optimal pressure distribution.
- The girth consists exclusively of round shapes, which prevents pressure points on the skin and connective tissue (fascia) of the horse.
- The buckles of the girth are located between the muscle attachments of the Latissimus Dorsi and Serratus Ventralis, which means that there is less pressure on the muscle attachments themselves during peak loads when girthing. In addition, the girth is provided with gel padding under the buckles, which contributes to better pressure distribution.
